Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s Peddi is all set to be released in theaters worldwide in another 2 days. The film’s director, Buchi Babu Sana, is confident of the film’s success and calls Peddi an emotional entertainer.
Director’s Confidence in Peddi’s Emotional Core
Director Buchi Babu Sana expressed strong confidence in Peddi, calling it an emotional and commercial entertainer that families will enjoy together. He said Ram Charan’s performance and transformation in the film are mind-blowing and revealed that the actor underwent several months of wrestling training for the role.
According to the director, audiences will not see Ram Charan on screen but only the character Peddi. He clarified that the film was written specifically for Charan and is not the script that was once associated with NTR. Set against a 1985 Vizianagaram backdrop, Peddi blends sports, action, emotions, and a larger story.
Powerful Performances and Rahman’s Music
The director said the film features a powerful emotional segment and an extraordinary climax that has received excellent feedback from those who have watched it. He also praised Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma for their impactful performances.
Buchi Babu shared that working with A.R. Rahman was a dream come true and promised that the remaining songs in the film will impress audiences. He revealed that Sukumar particularly loved the second half of the movie. Describing the title character, he said, “Pushpa Raj stays in your mind, but Peddi will stay in your heart.” Confident about the film’s emotional connect and entertainment value, Buchi Babu urged audiences to watch Peddi with their families when it releases worldwide on June 4.
